On June 27, 2012, Nicole Carney (Pennsylvania) was crowned Jr T.E.E.N. United States 2012.
Nicole is an active 14 year old who will attend 9th Grade at Seneca Valley Intermediate High School this fall. She enjoys writing, swimming and being involved in Pageantry. Competing in Pageants has opened many new doors for her, bringing her out of her comfort zone and into a fast moving fun mode. The youngest of 5 girls, and “the best Aunt” to Jackson, 3 and Maya, 2, she loves spending time with her family. With her sisters scattered across the country, she enjoys travelling to visit them and considers herself a “professional” traveller.
Being the Ambassador for ‘Queens for a Cause’ has also helped Nicole to reach out to other girls, helping them to gain self confidence and motivate them to dream big and reach for the stars. Nicole is a strong believer in being one’s self, because everyone else is already taken. She is always smiling, and has a positive attitude to greet each day.
With her love of fashion, she someday wants to become a Professional Model or Broadcast Journalist. She is most happy on the stage.
Nicole participates in volunteering at her local food bank, and had previously created her own Snacks for Soldiers drive, where all of her classmates participated in bringing in a variety of snacks that we shipped overseas to our Soldiers. She participates in many Fundraising Walks to raise awareness for breast cancer and heart disease.
Being crowned the new Jr. T.E.E.N. United States 2012 is a dream come true for Nicole. Winning her first National Pageant, she hopes this year is full of new opportunities towards her future career and dreams.
